Nature Tours
Tours are tailored to your schedule and interests, emphasizing choice and playing it by ear.You may have from one to six people in your party for nature tours.  If you have more than six, we often take two boats. Large families/groups enjoy sticking together on the water and then landing  for a joint beach combing, birding and photography.What we see on our trips is dependent on the season, the time of day and where we go. We always see a variety of wildlife, typically including dolphin, crabs, and birds .

The base rate is $75per hour for two adults. Each additional adult is $10 per trip. Children under 12 ride free.


Little Tybee (year-round)
Natural Heritage Preserve - Includes landing on Little Tybee, birding, shelling, salt marsh ecology, dolphin viewing, beach combing, and cast netting. Great trip for people new to the Georgia coast and especially those with children.

Base Price: $150.00 - Length 2 Hours- Rigor: Easy trip

 


Wassaw Island (year-round)
 A National Wildlife Refuge,  this 10,053 acre island has a seven mile strip of pristine beach, rolling dunes, a driftwood bone yard, vast salt marshes and miles of trail through mature maritime forest. Located just south of Little Tybee Island, it is unique and  few management practices have modified Wassaw's primitive character. It is off limits  to any pets and after dark . This trip includes some of the best birding, shelling, salt marsh ecology, dolphin viewing, beach combing,  that the Georgia Coast has to offer.

Base Price: $300.00- Length 1/2 day- Rigor: Easy trip


Cockspur Light House and Lazaretto Creek Fishing Community

Includes landing on Cockspur Island, birding, salt marsh ecology, history sight seeing, dolphin viewing, climbing the lighthouse, and cast netting

Base Price: $190.00 - Trip Length 2 ½ Hours - Rigor: Easy trip


Crabbing in the Salt Marsh (seasonal-May thru October)
Includes hand lining for Blue Crab with chicken necks used as bait, dolphin viewing, birding, and cast netting.

Note: People under 65 and over 16 will need to purchase a $4.00 one day saltwater fishing permit. They can be gotten at most convenient stores on Tybee or at a Wal-Mart.

Base Price: $225.00 - Trip Length 3 Hours - Rigor -Fairly Easy trip, no walking


Fossil Hunting (seasonal- October thru April)
Includes surface hunting for fossils most notably shark teeth, salt marsh ecology, dolphin viewing, and birding.

Base Price: $260.00 - Trip Length 3-1/2 hours - Rigor: Fairly easy


Dolphin Quest (year-round)
This trip differs from our other nature in that we remain on the boat the whole time and focus on the dolphins. Dolphin viewing, salt marsh ecology, birding, and relaxing, while listening/connecting to the marsh and the ocean.

Special Price: $150.00-trip length 2 hours-rigor easy

Note This tour focuses on dolphin  and accommodates up to six people for this one price.


Fishing Tours

Light Tackle Saltwater Fishing
Fishing for Trout, Red Fish, & Flounder  in our salt  marshes and bays, with a guide with twenty years experience in local waters.

Fishing 1/2 day $340 for two anglers, $25.00 each for extra persons


 

A $50.00 Deposit is REQUIRED for all nature tours Bookings or $100 for fishing trips, you can pay through pay pal or by check. The balance on your charter  is due on the day of the trip. We do not accept credit cards at the boat, only checks or cash. Make Payable to:

If your trip is cancelled due to BAD (inclement) weather you can reschedule, or get a FULL REFUND. Please call us the night before your trip(912-786-9470), or be sure we have a number you can be reached at in case of a cancellation, or postponement due to weather. We require a one week notice for cancellations.
